Start your bowls journey with us, all abilities welcome, free coaching available

Our season runs from mid-April to September.

Join us (weather permitting), on a Monday or Thursday morning, 10am to noon, all abilities are welcome and we have free coaching and equipment available if required.

We can be found in Teignmouth beside the Town Council offices at Bitton House with easily accessible public parking.

The Club has approximately 80 members, covering all ages and abilities, and anyone wishing to join the Club will be made very welcome.

We are able to play up to seven rinks on one of the best greens in Devon, managed by our own members with professional advice.

We enter two teams in the Men's Mid Devon Bowling League and two teams in the Men's Over 55's League. The Ladies also field two teams in the South Devon Ladies Bowling League.

Club members participate in County and National competitions, as well as a full programme of tourist matches, friendly fixtures and club competitions. New members will encouraged to join in, but always at their own pace.

For many years Bitton Park has been one of the Clubs in the Teignmouth area who have played host to the Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament which is now held in September of each year.

We operate under the rules and framework of Bowls England with two qualified club safeguarding officers. We follow a policy of zero-tolerance towards bullying and all forms of discrimination.

Feeling hungry? Our kitchen is ready to serve up varied refreshments, all prepared in-house by our talented members. From light snacks to hearty meals, we have something to suit the occasion.

And don’t worry about changing before or after your game; we have convenient changing rooms to ensure you’re comfortable throughout your visit.

Even when the bowling season wraps up we’re continue to be a hub for our members, offering a variety of engaging activities that keep the spirit of community alive all year long.

Join us for our weekly coffee mornings, where you can catch up with friends over a warm cuppa and biscuits. It’s the perfect way to start your day and connect with fellow members in a relaxed atmosphere.

Looking for a little friendly competition? Our bingo and card afternoons bring laughter and camaraderie to the table. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a newcomer, there’s always a seat waiting for you!

And don’t miss our themed social evenings where the focus is on fun and community spirit, these events are designed to bring members together and offer something for everyone.
