Bitton Park Bowls Club was founded in 1940 and is situated in Bitton Park (Teignmouth) on  the South Devon Coast. It is within easy reach of the English Riviera (Torbay) and Exeter.

We have approx. 85 members, 30 Ladies and 55 Men, ages ranging from nine to ninety plus. This enables us to run 2 teams in each of the following:

Mid-Devon League - Men.

Over 55's League - Men.

Print Plus League - Ladies.

We also participate in County & National Competitions as well as fulfilling approx. 40 Tourist Matches plus local friendlies.

We are able to play up to 7 rinks, on one of the best greens in the area. The Green is looked after by Malcolm and Pete two of our members supported by the professional advice of Avon Sports Ground Maintenance Ltd.

The Club House hosts it's own Bar which is open for all home fixtures as well as Club Social Events. We have a nice sized kitchen which enables us to provide light refreshments for our visitors - usually Tea & Biscuits, and on the odd occasion delicious Afternoon Teas. There are also men's & ladies changing facilities.

Each year the club, with other clubs in the area plays host to the Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament. This event runs in June and has competitions for Men's Singles, Pairs, Triples & Ladies Pairs.
