Bitton Park Bowling Club was founded in 1940. It is one of the leading bowling clubs in Devon and is situated in Bitton Park Teignmouth, within easy reach of the English Riviera and Exeter.

The Club has approximately 80 members, covering all ages and abilities, and anyone wishing to join the Club will be made very welcome. The Club follows a policy of zero-tolerance towards bullying and all forms of discrimination. At present we enter two teams in the Men's Mid Devon Bowling League and two teams in the Men's Over 55's League. The Ladies also field two teams in the South Devon Ladies Bowling League. The Club also participates in County and National Competitions, as well as a full programme of tourist matches and friendly fixtures. We are able to play up to seven rinks on one of the best greens in Devon. Our green is managed by our own members with professional advice from Tim Wakeham.

Our Clubhouse has a refurbished kitchen which enables us to provide more substantial refreshments as well as the usual tea and biscuits. There is also a well-stocked Bar. The Clubhouse has spacious Men's and Ladies' changing facilities.

For many years Bitton Park has been one of the Clubs in the Teignmouth area who have played host to the Teignmouth Open Bowls Tournament which is now held in September of each year.

In the past few years the Club has gained a number of new members as a result of Open Days, followed by coaching sessions held on a Monday and Thursday morning. For more information, please contact the Club Secretary whose contact details appear on the  Contacts page.
